Lockerbie/Kincraig Drainage Project

This project involves the entirety of the storm sewer between Argyle and Kincraig which will be replaced. There may be some staging in the easement North of Argyle for pipe assembly. The majority of the construction will be conducted by underground boring, to minimize yard disturbance through the project area. The existing storm sewer inlets along the route will need to be tied into the new sewer. This will require access at the structures and open excavation to connect them to the new storm sewer. We may require items within the easement to be removed to complete the project. In general, placement of improvements within the easement are not permitted. The easement has been marked with stakes at each property to provide owners with a visual representation of the easement area. The initial placement of the new sewer is expected to be completed within 3 weeks. Final tie-ins to existing structures and site restoration will require some additional time. Grass areas disturbed by the construction will be restored. Landscape plants and hardscape features that are in the easement and within the area of excavation around the structures may be permanently damaged or removed. They will not be replaced. Upon completion of the new sewer, the old sewer that is causing the sinkholes will be filled with a flowable slurry of concrete and sand as best as practical. This will endeavor to remove the voids and help prevent further sinkholes.

Catch Basin Cleaning

Eagle Services will be in the District cleaning out the catch basins for the next few weeks.
